I can%26#39;t find a room in Fargo for April 19th, anyone have any ideas?

There is a regional girls basketball tourment in town that weekend. Kayak, is showing the raddison is available, but at a high price. Good luck.

No Problem. Seeing how kayak (www.kayak.com), was only showing that hotel, that tourment, must of been sucking all the places dry.

Bon Jovi is playing that night. I%26#39;ve heard that as a result, a lot of hotels blocked off a lot of rooms and inflated the prices.

I would recommend calling a hotel or two directly and inquire as to their availability. If they have rooms, but the prices seem exorbant, wait until it gets closer to the 19th, you may see those rooms open back up at their normal price. Although, you may have to call every other day or something along those lines.

What would be nice is if there was a site that would send you an e-mail if a hotel has rooms that become available for your desired night.

If you%26#39;re familiar with the Fargo area, you probably have some good ideas where to look. Otherwise, if you%26#39;re not try looking in Moorhead, MN (just across the border) and depending on why you%26#39;ll be in town Grand Forks, ND might be an okay alternative too (45 min - 1 hr away)

Another option might be the Governor%26#39;s Inn in Casselton, about 20 miles west on I-94. It%26#39;s fairly new. There%26#39;s also the Star-Lite Motel in Dilworth, just east of Moorhead, but I can%26#39;t say what kind of shape that%26#39;s in.

Wahpeton is 45 minutes away (all on interstate except the last 10 miles is 4 land highway) as is Detroit Lakes (four lane highway) too if someone is totally desparate for rooms....both towns have several hotels and Wahpeton has a casino. And a quick search had one hotel in Wahpeton for about $50 a night.

some rooms are opening up. I scored two today and my friend found one. She got some at the Kelly Inn near the new Scheel%26#39;s. It sounded like they had more available. I took the last two at the Radisson that has a shuttle to the bon jovi concert. They were full last night, but i kept checking on their website!

Nice to hear there is a shuttle to the concert, we%26#39;ll be taking advantage of that for sure.
