Public Transports - ND

First of all, Hi to all of you...

It%26#39;s the first time I post on these boards. I live in the United Kingdom and am planning to go to North Dakota in Sept. I%26#39;ve made a lot of research on the places I%26#39;d like to see, and the hotels (no prob there), but am stuck on public transports systems. I am not planning on hiring a car, so I do not how I will travel from Bismarck to the Devils%26#39;s lake and then New Town.

I%26#39;ve made extensive searches on the web, to try and find out some information, but nothing came out of it...

Can anyone of you help me please? or do you know of any web sites, or useful companies please? Additionally I will contact the Bismarck Tourist Board, but would much appriciate your input too....

thank you

Public Transports - ND

Sorry but you won%26#39;t find public transportation going to those towns. You%26#39;ll probably have to rent a car.

Public Transports - ND

HI,

I live in Devils Lake, ND and would be happy to help you out around here. As far as getting around the state, I would highly recommend renting a car. However you would need to drive yourself. North Dakota%26#39;s public transportation is not very easy to use. You would have to call for a cab to get around towns and to and from public transports from city to city. There is some public transportation between cities and towns, but it is once a day most of the time. The Bismarck visitor center is at 523 N. 4th Street (701/222-4308 or 800/767-3555).

If you would like to email me and let me know when you will be in the area, I would be happy to assist you in getting around. You can reach me at tallblonde69_99@yahoo.com

I hope you enjoy your time in North Dakota.

best bet to to go to enterprise.com; they have the best prices in North Dakota and you can pick up the car at the airport. Driving in ND will be very easy. The country is wide open.
